Resizable Displays

We believe that in the near future many portable devices will have resizable displays. This will allow for devices with a very compact form factor, which can unfold into a large display when needed. In this project, we design and study novel interaction techniques for rollable and foldable displays. We prototype these interfaces with existing technologies in order to explore already today new possiblities for interaction with the devices of tomorrow.

In our latest project, we investigated the use of rollout screens for creating an interactive surface to support collaboration on-the-go:
