Leah Buechley is a post doctoral researcher in Computer Science at the University of Colorado at Boulder where she works with the Craft Technology Group. Leah’s research explores the intersection of computational and physical media, focusing on computational textiles or electronic textiles (e-textiles) - soft, flexible, fabric-based computers.

Marcelo Coelho is a PhD candidate at the MIT Media Lab. His work explores how technology can refashion communication by incorporating computation into common substrates and materials. Some of his projects include shape-changing textiles, flying robots and edible circuits. Marcelo also holds a BFA in Computation Arts from Concordia University and, before joining the MIT Media Lab, he was a research partner at XS Labs developing wearable technology and interactive textiles.
