2) Material World 2, Innovative Materials for Architecture and Design, Compiled by Material 0. - Visually oriented book good for inspiration and a survey of material composites.
3) Properties of Materials, Mary Anne White, 1999 - Material Science approach - technical
4) The Material of Invention, Materials and Design, by Ezio Manzini, MIT Press 1989 - Older MIT Press book on experimentation and inspiration. Seems to have become a collectible on amazon.
