The ideal applicant for our research group has the following characteristics:
- intellectual curiosity
- creative, inventive, full of (radical) ideas
- "hacker type", someone who likes to build/make things (in several media)
- works independently, but is also a real team player
- strong technical background (programming and possible also sensors/hardware)
- strong interest in and knowledge of Human-Computer Interaction and specifically designing and building interactive systems
- background/interest in design, arts & entertainment is a plus
- background/interest in Artificial Intelligence or Cognitive Science is a plus
